First one of 2025:

As we approach our first full year in the market, the excitement is building. We’re eager to hear your feedback and work together to shape SpecMoto into exactly what Canada needs/wants.

Kicking off the year with a bang!

Our first big announcement: A new series premieres January 15th, following the International Triumph Canada MVP Racing team as they chase the 2025 West Supercross Championship. Chasing Supercross

Chasing Supercross 2025

We’re thrilled to drop this series—it's rare to see Canadian riders chasing the championship like this, and we aim to bring it all to you.

SpecMoto will be in California this January, bringing tons of content as our Canadians prep for the Canadian series and race Supercross.

We chatted with Preston Masciangelo a bit about his Supercross Debut at A1, heres what he had to say:

”My goals for this supercross season starts with making a main event. Once I can put myself in that group of guys, I can start climbing the ladder and see how well I can do. I’ve been feeling really good on my bike lately. Being my first year, I’m just looking to improve myself each and every round, stay on the track, and stay consistent. I have a great group of people around me helping and supporting me this season to ultimately do the best I can.”

The holiday season is wrapping up, and 2025 is already in motion. While the 2025 Canadian Nationals schedule has been widely reported, nothing official has been released yet. Two new tracks are expected on the West, and details for WCAN are in the works. However, there's no official word yet on whether it’ll happen or where. Hopefully early January we will see the final schedule.

We're awaiting the ruling on the 250 class, which will decide if Ryder McNabb on GDR Honda races 250 or 450—and could also influence whether some U.S. riders come up to race the smaller bikes.

KTM Canada Red Bull Racing will be making rider announcements and updates in early 2025. With rumours swirling, Team Manager Matt Deroy says stay tuned for more info in the first few weeks of the year!

Kaylie Kayer Snowbiking in Revy

Kaylie Kayer, Liam Dodds, Blake Davies, and Brock Hoyer are dropping absolute bangers on Instagram with their snowbiking content. SpecMoto might be all about moto, but these trips make it clear why they're hooked—it looks like a blast.

It’s hard to deny snowbiking as killer cross-training for moto. Holding bars is always good, but digging out your bike in the snow? That’s cardio.

That’s a wrap for this week! Next SpecAround will be from sunny California, just ahead of A1. Supercross is almost here, and we’re ready to bring you all the Canadian news. At SpecMoto, your feedback matters—tell us what you want more of, what you don’t like, and how we can improve. We’re building this together!

Talk soon!
