The WSX rounds are all fly-away events for the race teams, so they are working out of crates in tighter pit set up. Many bikes were covered like this for the nights.

Sharp foot pegs are the standard on race bikes. The riders don’t want to be slipping a peg in whoops or rhythm sections.

A kickstart
Many of the teams were installing fresh clutch plates after the practice and qualifying sessions leading into the night show where the bikes would see a lot of gate drops.

Stiff SX Suspension and low holeshot device heights put a lot of stress on a fork guard. Tamer makes some braces to add some security to the MCR Hondas to prevent the fork guard from ripping off when the holeshot device is engaged.
It was interesting to see the MCR 250 and 450 machines having a different pattern drilled in their airbox covers. Both engine packages are handled by XPR Motorsports.

Brake snake, this cable prevents the rider’s rear brake from getting bent out of reach in the event of dragging in ruts, hitting rocks, tough blocks etc.
WSX provide the teams with wash bays, but most teams decided to go with a wipe down before the night show. The teams don’t like spraying the bikes down unless they absolutely must, to avoid the risk of water getting into the bikes electrical systems.
