Wildrose Track Info
This past week, the city released news that could impact Wildrose Park—and it’s no surprise. Last year, a small notice hinted at a road cutting through the track, with rumors of a bus barn. Now, it's more official—the article clearly outlines that if this project moves forward, the track is gone.
Wildrose Motocross Park isn’t calling for action just yet—just ride, race, and be respectful. That last part is key. Passion is great, but one wrong move could make the track disappear for good. Trust the Save the Park Committee—they have a plan.
Stay tuned for next steps. Make sure you are following Wildrose Instagram and you are signed up for their Newsletter.

Big news for Canadian moto: Phil Nicoletti is set to race a 450 for WLTN Kawasaki in 2025.
The move has been teased for months—even mentioned on Pulp—with Phil neither confirming nor denying, but strongly hinting at a likely return north. Now, it’s official—he’ll be lining up for the 8-round series with WLTN Kawasaki. WLTN Kawasaki now has two American riders in 250/450, putting them in a strong position for the newly introduced stages portion of the season.

MX101 Yamaha:
We reached out to Kevin Tyler from MX101 to discuss the off-season and his favorite question about WMX riders.
“It’s been good offseason so far boys are flying at the test track from all the reports I have gotten.
Kilroy has been racing a bunch on the west coast. Racine going to do some races before he heads home. Had the crew testing with Pettis and Racine last week and this week.
Same old on the wmx. If it makes sense with the right girl we are into entertaining it.
We have added talon Medaglia under our MX101 BLUcRU amateur umbrella so excited to help that little ripper some more this year.”
We'll catch up with Kevin again when the 2025 WMX schedule drops to talk about which WMX riders might be a fit for his team. With some of the fastest U.S. girls already aboard Yamahas, it seems like that would be something that makes sense.
Rider Catch up:
Preston Kilroy -
The American rider returning to MX101 and dropping to the 250 class in 2025 has been soaking up the warm weather and putting in serious seat time. We asked him how his off-season is going and how he feels about the 250.
“It’s going good! Been going down to California a bit and just spending a lot of days at mesquite mx! I honestly am really excited to race the 250 as that is what I’m very comfortable with and most familiar with. It should be an exciting year of racing!”

International Team Split?!
A new Instagram account, "Compass Rose International Motorsports Triumph Racing," has surfaced, sparking curiosity. It’s not the same as "Rad Torque International Motorsports Triumph Racing."
We caught up with team manager and past Canadian Champion Al Dyck to get the scoop on this new squad and what it means.
“So Rad Torque International Motorsports Triumph Racing will be Blake Davies #34, Kaylie Kayer #3 and Dawson Gravelle #819 all on the Triumph TF 250 X
Compass Rose International Motorsports Triumph Racing will be Julien Benek #17 on the TF450 RC and Alex Gatt #74 on the TF250 X.
Compass will be pitting out of the same Trailer as last year and RAD Torque will be out of the New International Sprinter van with the enclosed awning. The teams will also have a New 32' Aluminum triple axle Trailer sponsored and supplied by Rental Equip from Sechelt BC.
We may still have a third rider for the Compass Rose Team but the emphasis is on "May".“
We asked Justin Thompson from Triple Crown whether this would disqualify them from the new "Stages" portion of the series by splitting into two teams, he replied with “they may be eligible”—raising the question: Will they adjust their plans depending on the outcome of the stages rules?!
Spring A Ding Results:
Spring a Ding went down in Texas last week, with plenty of Canadians in the mix. It’s not an LL qualifier, but it’s one of those “fun” races that still draws a stacked lineup. Tons of coverage, fast kids, and a good time in the pits—what’s not to love?
That’s a wrap for this week! With Supercross back, we’re all counting down to Saturday night—time to kick back on the couch and enjoy some racing!
