Tech Spec | TLD SE5 Polycarbonate

Troy Lee Designs has expanded its helmet lineup with the all-new SE5 Polycarbonate, bringing many of the premium features found in the flagship SE5 to a more accessible package.

In this review, we take a closer look at the SE5 Polycarbonate and break down what riders can expect from Troy Lee Designs' latest moto helmet. Built around a lightweight LG Chem polycarbonate shell, the helmet incorporates the new Mips® Integra TX rotational impact protection system, a multi-density EPS liner, and a dual-density chin bar designed to help manage impact forces in critical areas.

Ventilation has also been a major focus, with 11 intake vents and 5 exhaust vents working alongside 16 anodized aluminum mesh grids to maximize airflow on the track. Weighing approximately 1,380 grams (M/L), the SE5 Polycarbonate aims to strike the balance between protection, comfort, and all-day wearability.

Additional features include emergency-release cheek pads, audio system compatibility, premium anodized hardware, and both DOT and ECE 22.06 certification.
