PR: Kaylie Kayer to race Snowcross

Canadian WMX standout signs with a North American snocross program, with opening rounds set for Ironwood, Michigan this December

Kaylie Kayer is trading dirt for snow. The professional motocross racer from Savona, British Columbia, has signed with Team southside Polaris’s North American snocross program, bringing a decade of racing experience into a new discipline this winter.

Snow isn’t entirely new territory for her. Kayer is also a Yeti Snowbike test rider, and she is known for her technical riding ability, determination and versatility across disciplines. Her move to snocross is another step in a career that has kept her pushing her limits on both dirt and snow.

Now she brings those years of experience and race IQ to the sled, and the program is excited to have her on board.

Fans can catch Kayer in action this December in Ironwood, Michigan, for the opening rounds of the snocross season.

SpecMoto will continue to follow Kayer’s progress as she makes the transition.
